I hope you are enjoying your day off.
I am enjoying another great day at the technology convention and learning even more.
Today, I am attending
- Using Technology to Document, Share, and Highlight Student Work
In all classrooms, students create artifacts that teachers want to have documented and shared with parents and others. This session will introduce a number of tools that teachers can use to curate the work of their students. Not only can these tools help teachers share their students’ stories with others, but they also help the teacher show student growth throughout the year or years.
- YouManage YouTube
Learn how to manage and use your YouTube account for in the classroom. In this hands-on session, you will learn how to create a playlist, upload your own videos, and edit your videos without the need for any video editing software. Participants should have some topics in mind for creating a playlist. Participants will also have the opportunity to edit and upload their videos to YouTube.
- Mix It Up With Blended Learning
You hear a lot about blended learning these days, but what is it really? Maybe you want to know how to implement blended learning in your classroom. Maybe you already blend, but just don’t know it. Come learn from educators who have taught Kkndergarten through 11th grade as we share practical tips and tricks for blended learning for all grade levels on many different devices. Topics include digital portfolios, blogging, videos, and other content creation.
- Engage Your Teaching Day With Photo and Video Tools
A picture is worth a thousand words, an edited photo is worth a million, and a video can be priceless. Let a veteran teacher show how easy it is to take and use video tools in the classroom, upload them to YouTube or Twitter, and document the wonderful things happening each day in your classroom. The best camera apps, editing tools, and video ideas can transform your teaching.
