My most recent photos are on Schoology and Instagram
I am very excited to share our artists' achievements. These moments are amplified when it is accompanied with a photo of their proud smiling faces. For years, I have posted pictures of our artists while following the safety protocol of posting only the children's first name. However, the internet is constantly evolving and digital citizenship has become an important part of our curriculum. With these changes I feel that is in the students' best interest for me to only include pictures of their artwork. I do not want to infringe on their internet identity since it is something that they should be able cultivate. Therefore, the photos I posted on my Weebly website do not include students' faces since this is an open site and anyone can view it. Thankfully, many grade levels are now using Schology which is a closed site and can only be viewed by members. I will be post photos occasionally on Schoology.
